LaJuan J. Chambers, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician in Henderson who bases her practice on simple principles: “Every child is important and deserves the chance to reach their full potential. Every child gets my full attention and my care and concern.”
During her medical training she began working with children in her church.
“I got interested in making sure kids are healthy and that they stay healthy and productive throughout their adult lives.” She stays active in her faith and takes mission trips to Third World countries.
In her practice Dr. Chambers focuses on developing healthy behaviors in children and their families, watching for attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders and obesity. She speaks Spanish, which often helps her relate to patients and families.
Having grown up in Pittsburg, she’s familiar with the ETMC organization.
“I know it’s a great healthcare system that provides excellent care in the community and has for a number of years.”
