Clinical Interests:

“After losing a dear friend at age 13 and then, later, losing my grandmother to cancer, I had a strong desire to become a cancer specialist. I wanted to have an impact on the care of people with cancer. I was challenged by the constant evolution in cancer care, which I still find compelling. I also like the special bonds that develop between me and my patients and their families. I’m very interactive with patients on all levels — emotionally, physically, spiritually. I hope to give them understanding, empathy, time and joy for each day of life. And I strive to be an excellent physician, who is also a transparent person with whom they’re comfortable expressing themselves openly and honestly.”
