According to Bruno Romeo, MD, “Delivering a baby is one of the greatest experiences that any human being can have.” But that’s only part of why he chose to become an OB-GYN physician.
“I like the variety and challenges that come with being able to take care of patients in the office, in labor and delivery, and in surgical situations. And the type of relationships you develop are long-term because they start at puberty and carry on through the mature stages of life.”
Dr. Romeo, who is fluent in English and Spanish, believes in the importance of building long-term relationships with the women of Rusk County. “One of my goals is to provide stability of care to the community so that people don’t have to drive long distances for women’s services. They need to be able to trust their local hospital and the physicians in it.”
