“Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women,” said Dianne Adelfio, vice president of the ETMC Cardiovascular Institute. “Education, prevention and knowing the warning signs can help lower the risk for heart attack and/or stroke. ETMC is committed to helping women in East Texas have healthy hearts.”

Tickets for the event are $20 per person or a table of eight for $150. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the program taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are required, and may be made by calling 903-676-5886 or emailing jmhawthorn@etmc.org.
