High blood pressure often has no symptoms, and therefore, often goes undiagnosed and untreated. Left untreated, it can lead to other conditions, such as heart disease and stroke.
At our next KnowledgeFirst forum, Dr. Ajay Pachika, a cardiologist with Tyler CVC, and Dr. Andrea Cooley, cardiothoracic surgeon with ETMC First Physicians, will discuss risk factors associated with hypertension, as well as lifestyle changes and treatment options to help control blood pressure.
Lunch will be served.
