Seizures are symptoms of a problem in the brain. There are many types of seizures and can have many causes. Determining the type of seizure a person is having and its cause leads to better treatment.
At our next KnowledgeFirst forum, Dr. Gina Jetter, fellowship-trained epileptologist with Northeast Texas Neurology Associates and the ETMC Neurological Institute, will discuss seizures, how they are diagnosed and how ETMC’s Epilepsy Monitoring Unit assists in the accurate diagnosis of seizures.
