Born and raised in San Jose, California, Dr. Gominak attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned a BA in biochemistry. She received her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. Her residency in internal Medicine was at Baylor College of Medicine, Associated Hospitals, and she completed Neurology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. her EMG Fellowship was also completed at Massachusetts General. She is fluent in Spanish and also speaks French.
