“My older brother is a physician and I used to see him helping people. That’s how I knew I wanted to be in medicine.”
That’s also how board-certified pediatrician Salah N. Almohammed, MD (Dr. Sam), began to form his life’s goal. “I feel very fulfilled when one of the children I’m caring for gets better or is cured of an ailment.
“I love kids and I’ve got a lot of drive to do the best I can for them because every child needs to be prepared for the future.”
Dr. Almohammed is pleased to be with the ETMC First Physicians clinic in Carthage. He understands the need for quality healthcare in rural areas. “That makes this job very demanding but, at the same time, very rewarding.”
