When Dr. Dennis Devinney was in college, he suffered a basketball injury that resulted in surgery. His experience inspired him to attend medical school at the University of North Texas in Fort Worth. He went on to complete fellowships in both orthopedic trauma and shoulder and elbow surgery. With this advanced subspecialty training, Dr. Devinney offers world-class knowledge and expertise, right here in Tyler.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Devinney enjoys the technical aspects of his profession but thrives on the rewards he receives from interacting with his patients. “I gain the greatest satisfaction from helping people return to their regular activities, thus improving their quality of life. It’s fun to allow them to do the things they enjoy. That’s very rewarding for me.”
