Gallbladder disease can be confusing. The disease often presents differently from person to person with symptoms ranging from nausea to back pain and upper abdominal pain to yellowing of the skin.
The disease also is quite prevalent. Around 20 percent of the general population has gallstones, and about 5 to 10 percent of those will need surgery.
Join Dr. David Young, general surgeon with East Texas Vascular Associates, as he discusses gallbladder disease and the latest advancements in treatment, including da Vinci single-site surgery.
