--Semi-annual event offers something for everyone--
CROCKETT, TEXAS – ETMC Crockett volunteers will host the semi-annual Masquerade $5 Jewelry Sale on Tuesday, April 3.
The not-to-be-missed event will be held in the administration lobby 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will include a selection of jewelry that will amaze and delight the most discriminating shopper.
Each item offered in the expansive collection is priced at $5 and volunteers use proceeds made from the event to fund the many worthwhile projects of the organization.
The 51-member ETMC Crockett Volunteer Auxiliary operates the hospital gift shop and funds six $1,000 scholarships for high school students who intend to pursue nursing school or a career in the medical field and two $500 scholarships to Angelina College Nursing School students. They are also well-known for the compassion they provide to family members and friends of patients. In addition, each year the volunteers purchase useful items such as wheelchairs, scales, thermometers and crash carts for use in the hospital.
