Dave Bailey has been named administrator of ETMC Mount Vernon, ETMC Senior Vice President for Affiliate Operations Jerry Massey announced today.
"Dave brings a wealth of experience in the healthcare arena to ETMC Mount Vernon," Massey said. "His knowledge and expertise will be an asset as he works with the hospital staff and physicians to ensure a healthy future for healthcare in Mount Vernon."
Bailey joined the ETMC Regional Healthcare System in May 2010 as the chief operating officer at ETMC Pittsburg. He replaces Brett Kirkham, who recently was named administrator of ETMC Trinity.
Prior to joining ETMC, Bailey served as vice president of operations for White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Ind., from 1999-2005 and again from 2006-2010. During his 27 years in healthcare, he has served as CEO for both a comprehensive rehabilitation hospital and a critical access hospital.
He earned his bachelor's degree in medical records administration from Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis. He holds a registered records administrator credential from the American Health Information Management Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
